Last week our class had a four-legged guest come to listen to them read. Michelle and her Therapy Dog, Maddie came to our classroom. Each child got to read to her from a book that he or she selected. Maddie was such a wonderful guest, and listened to every child. It was a very special day!

Our class has been very busy writing our first letters to our pen pals at Clough Pike Elementary. The students can't wait to hear back from their new friends!

Hello! I hope to see everyone at Amelia Elementary's Wild West Fall Fest tonight from 6:30 to 9:00. I will be selling glow necklackes, so you will be able to spot me very easily.:)
Our class will be going to the bookfair on Monday, so don't forget your money if you plan on shopping! Have a great weekend!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out for our first Open House in the new Amelia Elementary. I can't wait to start school with all of our new things, and I know that the kids are excited too! I'll see you Tuesday!

Hello everyone! We are winding down to the end of the summer. It has flown by quickly! I have started unpacking in the new building - it is so beautiful! I can't wait for you to see it. Our Open House is scheduled for Thursday, September 2nd. Check out Mrs. Walker's blog for pictures of the old building being taken down. See you soon!
