Monday

“Keep it Cool With a Good Book” – Summer hat and sunglasses day

Tuesday

“Flip Open a Good Book” – Wear flip flops

Wednesday

“Lay out and Read With a Buddy” – Bring a beach towel

Thursday

“Read in Paradise” – Wear your tropical clothes, leis, etc.

Friday

“Book Beach Party” – Popsicle party earned from the weeks activities

*Friday it also the Fit-a-Thon, so make sure you wear your gym shoes!

A Special Visitor!

Last week our class had a four-legged guest come to listen to them read. Michelle and her Therapy Dog, Maddie came to our classroom. Each child got to read to her from a book that he or she selected. Maddie was such a wonderful guest, and listened to every child. It was a very special day!

Our class has been very busy writing our first letters to our pen pals at Clough Pike Elementary. The students can't wait to hear back from their new friends!
